Interlaken's own mountain: a 10-minute funicular to the Two Lakes Bridge platform over Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, with the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau ahead.

The Harderbahn funicular climbs straight up from Interlaken to Harder Kulm at 1,322 m in about ten minutes. The Two Lakes Bridge viewing platform sticks out over the drop, with Lake Thun on one side, Lake Brienz on the other and the snow peaks of the Jungfrau ahead.

The fairy-tale restaurant at the top serves Swiss dishes on its terrace – a great spot for sunset before the last funicular down.

  2. Your booking is confirmed once payment succeeds. Your e-ticket or voucher is shared on email and WhatsApp within 24 hours of booking.

  4. Swiss mountain railways and cable cars: children under 6 travel free with an adult, children 6-15 pay the child fare. Swiss Travel Pass and Half Fare Card holders should tell us – many excursions are cheaper with them.
  5. Bookings are valid only for the date on your voucher. To change the date, contact Plantenium before the day – changes depend on availability.
  6. Mountain trips, flights and boats can close for storms, strong wind or avalanche risk. If the operator cancels, you get a full refund or a new date. Summit views depend on the weather on the day.
