Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 7 October 2026

Please read these terms carefully before booking. They explain your rights and ours, and how we work with travel suppliers on your behalf.

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use www.plantenium.com or book any travel service with Plantenium Travels (“Plantenium”, “we”, “us”). Together with our Privacy Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy, Booking & Delivery Policy and the terms shown on each product page, they form the agreement between you and us. By booking, you confirm you have read and accept them.

2. Our role

We plan trips and arrange bookings with independent suppliers – airlines, hotels, attraction and tour operators, cruise lines, transport companies and visa authorities. For activities, tickets, flights and hotels we act as a booking agent: the service itself is provided by the supplier, under the supplier's own terms, which also apply to you. For holiday packages we put the components together for you and coordinate them.

3. Who can book

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
  • The person who books (the lead traveller) accepts these terms for everyone in the booking and is responsible for paying and for sharing all booking information with them.
  • You must give accurate details. Names must match passports exactly.

4. Prices and payment

  • Prices are set in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. When you view prices in another currency, they are converted from the Rupee price at the day's exchange rate and include a 4% currency conversion charge. Payments by PayPal are charged in US dollars on the same basis; payments by PayU are charged in Rupees, and your bank's own conversion and fees may apply.
  • Prices can change until your booking is confirmed. The amount charged is the amount shown at checkout.
  • Payments are processed by PayU (and PayPal for some international payments). We don't see or store your card or bank details.
  • If a price on our website is clearly wrong because of a technical or typing error, we may cancel the booking and refund you in full, or offer it at the correct price.
  • GST and other taxes are charged as required by Indian law. Tax Collected at Source (TCS) may apply to overseas tour packages as per the Income Tax Act.

5. Dates, time slots and reference rates

  • Some prices depend on the date of your visit (for example peak season, weekends or offers). The price for your date is shown once you choose it, and that is the price you pay.
  • Where an activity asks for a time slot, it is your preferred time. We book that time whenever it is available and confirm the exact time on your voucher. If it is not available we offer the nearest time, another date or a full refund.
  • Hotel rates marked as reference rates come from public listings and are a guide to what hotels at a destination cost. They are not our prices and are not an offer. Send an enquiry for a quotation from our team; only that quotation is a price you can book at.
  • Holiday packages sold at a fixed price name the hotel category and example hotels. The hotel is confirmed after you book and may be one of the named hotels or a similar hotel of the same standard.
  • Offer prices apply only for the travel dates shown with them and while availability lasts.

6. Bookings, cancellations and refunds

How bookings are confirmed and delivered is set out in our Booking & Delivery Policy. Cancellations, changes and refunds are covered by our Cancellation & Refund Policy and by the specific policy shown on each product page.

7. Passports, visas and health

  • You are responsible for having a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates, the right visas and entry permits, and any required vaccinations or health documents.
  • Visa information on our website is general guidance for ordinary Indian passport holders and can change without notice. Always check the official sources before travelling. We are not responsible if you are refused boarding or entry because of missing or invalid documents.
  • When we process a visa for you, the decision rests solely with the issuing government. Visa fees and service charges are not refunded if a visa is refused.

8. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, baggage and personal liability. Some countries require it for entry.

9. Your responsibilities while travelling

  • Arrive on time, carry your vouchers and ID, and follow suppliers' safety rules and instructions.
  • Check age, height, fitness and health requirements for activities before booking. Suppliers may refuse participation for safety reasons without refund.
  • Respect local laws and customs. Suppliers may refuse service to anyone behaving in an unsafe or abusive way.

10. Our liability

We take care in arranging your bookings and choose reputable suppliers. However, suppliers are independent businesses and are responsible for the services they provide. To the extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for the acts, omissions, delays or failures of suppliers, or for injury, loss or damage that occurs while using their services.
  • We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics, war, terrorism, strikes, government actions and airline or supplier insolvency.
  • Our total liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

11. Website content

Photos on our website are for illustration and may not show the exact experience. Descriptions, timings and inclusions are provided by suppliers and may change; the details on your voucher apply. Photos and content are owned by Plantenium or used with permission or under Creative Commons licences credited on each page. You may not copy or reuse our content for commercial purposes without permission.

12. Accounts and acceptable use

Keep your account details secure – you are responsible for activity under your account. Don't misuse the website, attempt to access other people's data, interfere with its security, or use automated tools to copy its content.

13. Complaints

If something goes wrong during your trip, tell the supplier and us straight away (WhatsApp +91-9084682279) so we can try to fix it on the spot. Formal complaints can be sent to info@plantenium.com within 30 days of returning. Our Grievance Officer acknowledges complaints within 48 hours and aims to resolve them within 30 days.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will first be discussed in good faith; if it cannot be resolved, the courts of India have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach consumer commissions under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the website when you book applies to your booking.
