The Sound of Music was filmed in and around Salzburg in 1964. Visit the Mirabell Gardens where the children sang 'Do-Re-Mi', the lake at Leopoldskron and the famous 'Sixteen Going on Seventeen' gazebo.

Then drive into the Salzkammergut lake district to Mondsee, where the wedding scene was filmed – with time for apple strudel.

  4. Timed tickets: arrive 15 minutes before your time slot. Late arrivals may be refused and are not refunded.
  5. Child prices follow the attraction's own age rules, checked at entry. Where under-18s enter free, they still need to come with the ticket-holding adult.
  6. Bookings are valid only for the date and time on your voucher. To change, contact Plantenium before the day – changes depend on availability.
