Schönbrunn, the Habsburg summer residence, has 1,441 rooms. The Grand Tour covers 40 of them – the apartments of Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Elisabeth (Sisi), the Great Gallery and the Mirror Room where six-year-old Mozart performed.

Afterwards, walk up through the baroque gardens to the Gloriette for the view back over the palace and Vienna.

  4. Timed tickets: arrive 15 minutes before your time slot. Late arrivals may be refused and are not refunded.
  5. Child prices follow the attraction's own age rules, checked at entry. Where under-18s enter free, they still need to come with the ticket-holding adult.
  6. Bookings are valid only for the date and time on your voucher. To change, contact Plantenium before the day – changes depend on availability.
