The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River (UNESCO) runs under a limestone mountain straight into the West Philippine Sea. A paddle boat takes you about 1.5 km inside, past huge chambers, formations and bats.

Daily visitor numbers are capped, so the permit is the hard part – it's included, with transfers from the city and the short boat ride from Sabang.

  5. Hotel pickup, where included, covers hotels in the city centre. Pickup times are confirmed the day before.
  6. Bookings are valid only for the date on your voucher. To change the date, contact Plantenium before the day – changes depend on availability.
  7. Mountain roads, boats and outdoor activities can be affected by weather. If the operator cancels, you get a full refund or a new date.
