After hotel pickup, you board a speedboat for the trip across the Andaman Sea to the Phi Phi islands. At Phi Phi Leh you walk the boardwalk into Maya Bay – made famous by the film The Beach – swim in the emerald Pileh Lagoon and pass the Viking Cave, before snorkelling over coral reefs at a nearby bay.

Lunch is a Thai buffet on Phi Phi Don, with time to stroll. On the way back to Phuket you stop at Khai Island, a tiny islet with powder-white sand and shallow clear water that's ideal for a final swim.

Know Before You Go

  • Infants under 3 travel free.
  • Swimming isn't allowed inside Maya Bay itself; swimming stops are at Pileh Lagoon, the snorkelling bay and Khai Island.
  • Not recommended for pregnant travellers or anyone with back problems – speedboats can be bumpy.
  • Bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and cash for the park fee.

  1. Prices are per ticket in Indian Rupees (INR) and include taxes. You pay the total shown at checkout – there are no hidden booking fees.
  2. Your booking is confirmed once payment succeeds. Your voucher is emailed to you, usually within 24 hours of booking.
  3. Carry your passport; operators may check the lead traveller's ID against the booking.
  4. Child and infant prices follow the operator's own age and height rules, which are checked on the day. If a ticket type doesn't match, the difference may be charged there.
  5. Bookings are valid only for the date on your voucher. To change the date, contact Plantenium before the day – changes depend on availability.
  6. Tours and boat trips can be changed or cancelled by the operator for weather, sea conditions or safety. If the operator cancels, you get a full refund or a new date.
  7. Thai national park fees, where mentioned as not included, are set by the government and paid in cash on the day.
