Lake Sevan lies at 1,900 metres and fills a sixth of Armenia. Climb to the 9th-century Sevanavank churches on their peninsula for the classic view.

Tsaghkadzor, the 'valley of flowers', is a mountain resort with a ropeway and the Kecharis monastery – snowy in winter, cool and green in summer.

  3. Carry your passport. Indian passport holders need an Armenia e-visa unless they hold certain other visas or residence permits – ask us.
  4. Prices shown are adult rates. Children's rates vary by tour – ask us before booking for a child.
  5. Hotel pickup, where included, covers hotels in the city centre. Pickup times are confirmed the day before.
  6. Bookings are valid only for the date on your voucher. To change the date, contact Plantenium before the day – changes depend on availability.
  7. Mountain roads, boats and outdoor activities can be affected by weather. If the operator cancels, you get a full refund or a new date.
