Indian passport holders need a visa for the United States. The B1/B2 visitor visa covers holidays, visiting family and friends, medical visits and short business trips. It is usually issued for 10 years with multiple entries; how long you stay each time is decided by the officer when you land, normally up to 6 months.

This is not an online visa. You give fingerprints and a photo at a Visa Application Centre, then attend an interview at the US Embassy in New Delhi or a consulate in Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad or Kolkata. The hard part is the interview date: waits for a visitor-visa interview in India can run to several months and change every month – the US State Department publishes the current wait for each city on its Visa Appointment Wait Times page.

That is what our early-appointment help is for. When we book, we look across all five cities for the earliest dates, and we keep watching for an earlier one. The US system allows one change of date without paying the fee again, so we use it when it brings your interview forward by a useful amount. We cannot promise a particular date – the US Embassy releases the slots.

The price includes the US visa application fee of USD 185, which goes to the US government and is not returned if the visa is refused.

B1/B2 Visitor Visa with early-appointment help

₹30,000 per traveller

Who can apply

  • Indian passport holders living in India, travelling for tourism, family visits, medical treatment or short business trips. Applicants are expected to apply in the country where they live.
  • First-time applicants, children and senior citizens all attend an interview now – the old exemptions for under-14s and over-79s ended in September 2025.
  • Renewing? If your last B1/B2 visa was issued for the full period when you were 18 or older and it expired less than 12 months ago, you may be able to renew without an interview. Tell us and we will check.

Documents we'll collect after booking

You don't upload anything on the website. After payment, our visa team contacts you on email and WhatsApp within 24 hours to collect these securely.

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your stay, plus old passports with any earlier US visas
  • Recent photo, 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm), white background, no glasses
  • Details for the DS-160 form: work or study history, past travel, family details and every social media username you have used in the last 5 years
  • Proof of funds: bank statements for the last 6 months and income tax returns for the last 2-3 years
  • Proof of your ties to India: employment letter with approved leave, business registration or property papers
  • Trip plan: where you will stay, and an invitation letter if you are visiting family

How it works

  1. 1Choose your travel date and number of applicants, and pay securely online.
  2. 2Within 24 hours, our visa team contacts you on email and WhatsApp to collect your details and documents.
  3. 3We fill in your DS-160 application for you to check and confirm, then pay the US visa fee and set up your appointment profile.
  4. 4We book the earliest biometrics and interview appointments we can find in the city you prefer – or in another city if it is much sooner and you agree.
  5. 5We prepare you for the interview: the questions asked most often and how to present your documents.
  6. 6You attend biometrics, then the interview. If the visa is approved, your passport comes back with the visa in it, usually within 5-10 working days.

Price includes

  • US visa application (MRV) fee of USD 185
  • DS-160 form filled in and checked
  • Appointment profile, and booking of biometrics and interview
  • Watching for an earlier date, and one change of appointment
  • Interview preparation session
  • Document checklist and review

Not included

  • US Visa Integrity Fee of USD 250, if the US charges it when your visa is issued
  • Travel to the Visa Application Centre and the consulate
  • Passport home-delivery charges
  • Travel insurance, flights and hotels

Know before you go

  • Apply as early as you can – ideally 8 to 12 months before you travel – and don't book non-refundable flights until you have the visa.
  • The US fee receipt is valid for one year, so the interview has to be booked within that time.
  • A Visa Integrity Fee of USD 250 became US law in 2025 and is being introduced consulate by consulate. Where it applies, it is paid to the US government only when a visa is issued and is not part of our price.
  • List every social media username you have used in the last 5 years on the form. Leaving one out can lead to a refusal.
  • Urgent travel for a medical emergency, a funeral or urgent business? Ask us about an emergency appointment request – the consulate decides these case by case.

Cancellation

Full refund if you cancel before we submit your DS-160 form or pay the US visa fee for you. After that, the US visa fee and our service charge are non-refundable, including if the visa is refused.

Terms & conditions
  • The price is per applicant in Indian Rupees (INR) and includes the US visa application fee (USD 185), Plantenium's service charge and taxes. You pay the total shown at checkout.
  • The US government releases and controls appointment dates and can change or cancel them. We book the earliest date available to us and cannot guarantee a particular date, city or waiting time.
  • You attend biometrics and the interview in person, on time, with the documents we list. A missed appointment can mean paying the US fee again.
  • Everything on your DS-160 form must be true and complete – you check and confirm it before we submit. False or missing information can lead to a refusal or a permanent ban.
  • The decision to grant a visa rests only with the US consular officer. Plantenium cannot guarantee approval or speed up a decision.
  • A visa allows you to travel to the US; the officer at the airport decides whether you enter and for how long.
