Indian citizens can visit Russia on a unified e-visa that covers the whole country. No invitation letter is needed, and the visa is issued in about 4 calendar days.
Since 23 August 2025 it allows one stay of up to 30 days within 120 days of issue (it was 16 days within 60 before), entering through the listed airports and checkpoints. Visa-free travel for Indian tour groups has been discussed but is not in force.

How it works

- 4Your e-visa is sent to you on email and WhatsApp. Print it (or keep it on your phone) and carry it when you fly.

Know before you go
- Apply at least 5 days before you travel: processing takes 4 calendar days, not counting the day you apply.
- Enter and leave through the checkpoints listed for e-visas.
- Every traveller needs their own e-visa, including children.
- Hotels register your stay automatically; if you stay elsewhere, register within 7 working days.
- Medical insurance is recommended but not required for the e-visa.
- Carry the e-visa notification, printed or on your phone.
Cancellation
Full refund if you cancel before we submit your application. Once it's submitted to the authorities, the visa fee and service charge are non-refundable, including if the visa is refused.
Terms & conditions
- Prices are per traveller in Indian Rupees (INR) and include the government visa fee, Plantenium's service charge and taxes. You pay the total shown at checkout.
- After payment, our visa team contacts you on email and WhatsApp within 24 hours to collect your documents securely. Nothing is couriered and – unless the visa page says otherwise – you don't need to visit an embassy.
- Processing times are the authorities' usual times, counted from when we have complete documents. They can take longer, especially around holidays.
- The decision to grant a visa rests only with the issuing government. Plantenium cannot guarantee approval or speed up a decision.
- Your details must match your passport exactly. Check your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your travel date and has at least 2 blank pages.
- Entry is finally decided by the immigration officer on arrival. Carry your visa, return ticket, hotel booking and enough money for your stay.
