Pick one theme park, not two

Universal Studios Singapore is the right call for most families with kids aged 5 and up — it's a full, tiring day on its own. Trying to also fit in Adventure Cove Waterpark on the same trip usually means both get rushed. If you have five or more nights, spread them across separate days with a lower-key day in between.

Build the evening around Gardens by the Bay
