Eat your way through Shinjuku's lantern-lit alleys with a local guide: yakitori in Omoide Yokocho, izakaya plates, and a peek into the tiny bars of Golden Gai.
Shinjuku after dark is Tokyo at its most atmospheric. Your guide leads a small group through Omoide Yokocho ('Memory Lane'), a smoky alley of stalls grilling yakitori, then into neighbourhood izakaya where locals unwind after work.
Along the way you'll taste about 8-10 dishes – skewers, gyoza, sashimi or seasonal plates – with drinks, learn how to order and toast like a local, and finish with a walk through Golden Gai's maze of tiny bars.
