After an early pickup, take a fast boat from Sanur to Nusa Penida (about 45 minutes). A private car and driver take you round the island's west coast: Kelingking Beach and its dinosaur-shaped headland, the natural arch of Broken Beach, the rock pools of Angel's Billabong, and Crystal Bay for a swim.

With the snorkelling package, you first board a boat to Manta Point, where you can swim with reef manta rays, and to the coral gardens of Gamat Bay and Crystal Bay. Lunch is at a local restaurant.

      • The path down to Kelingking Beach is very steep – most visitors stay at the viewpoint.
      • Roads on Nusa Penida are bumpy; expect long drives between stops.
      • Manta sightings are likely but not guaranteed.
