The Golden Round Trip starts with a lake cruise from Lucerne to Alpnachstad. From there, the world's steepest cogwheel railway climbs gradients of up to 48% to Pilatus Kulm at 2,132 m.

Enjoy the Dragon Path through the rock and views over the lakes and the Alps, then ride down via the Dragon Ride aerial cableway and panoramic gondolas to Kriens, and a short bus back to Lucerne. The Silver Round Trip uses the cable cars both ways and runs all year.

      4. Swiss mountain railways and cable cars: children under 6 travel free with an adult, children 6-15 pay the child fare. Swiss Travel Pass and Half Fare Card holders should tell us – many excursions are cheaper with them.
      5. Bookings are valid only for the date on your voucher. To change the date, contact Plantenium before the day – changes depend on availability.
      6. Mountain trips, flights and boats can close for storms, strong wind or avalanche risk. If the operator cancels, you get a full refund or a new date. Summit views depend on the weather on the day.
