From Barcelona: Montserrat Monastery & Rack Railway Trip

Montserrat (1 hour from Barcelona), Spain

Ride the rack railway up the jagged Montserrat mountain to the Benedictine monastery, the Black Madonna and – on weekdays – the famous boys' choir.

Choose tickets₹7,060 per adult

Montserrat's serrated peaks rise dramatically out of the Catalan plain, with a Benedictine monastery tucked into the cliffs. Your guide takes you up by rack railway and shows you the basilica and the revered Black Madonna.

Hear the Escolania, one of Europe's oldest boys' choirs, when it sings (most weekdays), and taste local liqueurs and cheese.
